An all inclusive website for pregnant people is being developed. Coming soon: a directory of local pregnancy related services, unbiased descriptions of birth care options, a library of evidence-based research.
Your birth Place
A variety of options are available at your local hospital, from specialist obstetric care for high risk pregnancies, to midwifery-led care for low risk pregnancies.
Birth at home with your chosen private midwife. Alternatively, some public hospitals offer home birth through their midwifery group practice (MGP) program.
Not comfortable to birth at home but don’t want to be in hospital either? With midwifery-led care, a birth centre may be an option for you.
We know that the best decisions are made when all the options are available. Womb will have a growing, free-to-access library on antenatal, birth and postnatal options.
Find a care provider that can meet your needs with our provider directory (coming 2019). We will provide a list of private obstetricians and midwives and local accredited GPs (shared care), as well as a list of hospitals and their birth statistics.
